Going to college can give someone a lot of opportunities to succeed in their career and in life. There are so many options to give to the community or the extra help someone might need in a subject they are having some trouble in. In Northampton Community College they have the Learning Center. Anyone attending the college can go and get help for any subject. Some subjects will need appointments to be seen, but some have walk-in hours. You can also get help online, if you have a busy schedule and can not make it to the learning center. They give every option possible to help the students. I, myself went to the Learning center to get some help on my writing assignment. I had the pleasure to have Maggie help me make sure my thesis was good and my supporting ideas went with the thesis. She made the experience comfortable and joyful. She let me know what would make my paper sound better, and gave me little tricks to put things togethers, to make the paper have a better flow. At the end I had my thesis statement and my supporting details for my paper. I left my appointment with a better understanding on what I needed to. Having a place to go to knowing you'll get the help that you need in the subject you're having trouble with is great. They take every minute to help as much as they can.
